Meet Dr. Alina Fatima

Growing up in Canton, Michigan, Dr. Alina Fatima learned how a smile could change a person’s day and found her passion in the world of dentistry – creating healthy, confident smiles for others. Her journey began at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she received her undergraduate degree. The next stop was the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she transformed her research insights into practical skills, learning to create beautiful and functional smiles.

For me dentistry is about the human connection, the joy of seeing a happy face after completing a procedure, and the excitement in a patient’s eyes when they admire their new dazzling smile. From intricate restorations to meticulous bridges, I transform smiles into confident expressions of individuality. As a member of the Michigan Dental Association, I hold myself to the highest professional standards, constantly striving to learn and grow, with a focus on continuing education in the field of endodontics. But when it comes to what truly keeps me going, it’s the genuine connection I build with each patient, the trust they place in me, and the satisfaction of seeing their smiles transform into expressions of confidence and well-being.

When Dr Fatima is not behind the mask in the dental chair, she loves spending time with her family – her husband, nieces, and nephews – laughing, sharing stories, and creating memories. Evenings spent watching movies with her husband are the perfect way to unwind. For a different kind of creative outlet, she loves to paint, creating art that decorates her home. And nothing excites her like trying new recipes. From whipping up spicy Thai curries to mastering the art of perfect pasta, the kitchen is always cooking.
